Benefits of working for the Escondido Community Child Development Center, Inc.

Welcome to Escondido Community Child Development Center! The Administration and Board of Directors of ECCDC has provided benefits to our full-time (30+ hours per week) employees, many of which have been provided at little or no cost to the employee. ECCDC is a leader in providing quality benefits to our employees and will continue to be a leader with a variety of benefits for our full-time employees and their families. Here are some of the benefits ECCDC provides to employees.

  • Health, Dental and Vision Insurance (SHARP, Kaiser, Blue Shield of CA)

  • FSA Flex Plan (used for out-of-pocket medical expenses)

  • 401K Retirement Plan with employer matching (eligibility is age 21yr, after 1 year of employment, and 1000 hours worked annually)

  • Employer sponsored Life Insurance Policy ($50,000 coverage)

  • Paid Vacation – accrual of 4% on all hours worked (32+ hours per week and must complete introductory period)

  • Paid Sick time – accrual of 5% on all hours worked (caps at 96 paid sick hours per calendar year)

  • Bereavement Days – 3 paid days + 2 unpaid days per calendar year (eligible after 30-days of employment)

  • Paid Holidays – 7 selected paid holidays
