211 San Diego
As a local nonprofit organization, 211 San Diego is the region’s trusted source for information and connections to community, health, and disaster resources. Help is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and in more than 200 languages. We maintain a database of more than 6,000 services and resources that are updated on a real-time basis and our Community Connectors help connect San Diegans to the accurate information they need.
San Diego County Office of Education
The San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) serves the region's most vulnerable students, and supports school leaders, teachers, and students across the county. We support about 780 schools and nearly 500,000 students, including the children we educate each year through our Juvenile Court and Community Schools.
First Five Commission of San Diego County
First 5 San Diego has been a leader in developing a stronger system of care that supports early identification through universal developmental and behavioral screening and services, home visitation services to targeted populations, oral health services and high-quality early care and education.
Escondido Unified School District
The Escondido Union School District, in partnership with our community, is committed to providing quality learning experiences for all students in a supportive environment, enabling them to be lifelong learners, productive members of the community, and positive contributors. Our teachers, classified employees, and administrators work collaboratively with parents and the community to actively engage all students in daily learning. Our goal is to ensure accountability for continuous student academic achievement at a high level for our more than 14,000 students, from Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade.
City of Escondido
Settled in a long valley in the coastal mountains of Southern California, Escondido, which means "hidden" in Spanish, lies about 18 miles inland, 100 miles south of Los Angeles, and 30 miles northeast of San Diego. Surrounded by avocado and citrus groves, our award-winning City is a diverse, vibrant community with just the right mix of small-town friendliness and big-city buzz.
Feeding America San Diego
At Feeding San Diego, we strive to connect every person facing hunger in San Diego with healthy food. So how can we achieve this goal? It’s simple – through food rescue. More than 35% of food produced in the U.S. goes to waste every year. Feeding San Diego rescues high-quality, nutritious, surplus food from all types of food donors, such as farms and grocery stores. Then, we work with community partners who distribute the food to people in need.

With over 1.2 million members across the globe, Rotary is the place where business and civic leaders come to share ideas, connect, and get inspired. Rotary members are people of action, dedicated to sustainable, impactful change in the communities in which they live and work.

North County Philanthropy Council
NCPC is a regional membership association of non-profit professionals, board members and volunteers along with corporate philanthropists serving San Diego County communities. Membership in the council is open to all organizations, businesses, and individuals interested in learning and sharing to ultimately provide an even greater benefit to the communities and individuals they serve. NCPC fosters a just, equitable, diverse and inclusive (JEDI) community starting with ourselves.
San Diego Food Bank
The Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank and our North County Food Bank chapter comprise the largest hunger-relief organization in San Diego County. Last year, the Food Bank distributed 44 million pounds of food, and the Food Bank serves, on average, 400,000 people per month in San Diego County. Through our North County Food Bank chapter and by partnering with nearly 500 nonprofit partners with feeding programs, the Food Bank provides nutritious food to individuals and families in need in communities throughout San Diego County.
MAAC – A tradition of serving the community
MAAC was founded upon a vision to provide a place where local families in need could find the means to self-sufficiency. Together, members from the San Diego Chapter of the GI Forum, Hermandad Mexicana, Laborer’s Local #89, Association of Mexican-American Educators, and the Council of Latin American Clubs, along with other leaders of San Diego’s Mexican American community turned their vision into reality and founded the Metropolitan Area Advisory Committee on Anti-Poverty.
Easterseals
Easterseals is leading the way to full equity, inclusion, and access through life-changing disability and community services. For more than 100 years, we have worked tirelessly with our partners to enhance quality of life and expand local access to healthcare, education, and employment opportunities. And we won’t rest until every one of us is valued, respected, and accepted. Through our national network of affiliates, Easterseals provides essential services and on-the-ground supports to more than 1.5 million people each year — from early childhood programs for the critical first five years, to autism services, to medical rehabilitation and employment programs, to veterans’ services, and more. Our public education, policy, and advocacy initiatives positively shape perceptions and address the urgent and evolving needs of the one in four Americans living with disabilities today. Together, we’re empowering people with disabilities, families and communities to be full and equal participants in society.
